Couples Therapy

We help couples move from conflict and disconnection to trust and intimacy, and mutual understanding. Using Emotionally Focused Therapy and The Gottman Method, we guide couples in identifying the negative pattern that keeps them stuck and in exploring new ways to reconnect and repair.

Our approach is grounded in cultural humility, inclusion, and a deep respect for the unique dynamics each relationship holds. We welcome couples of all backgrounds, orientations, and cultural experiences—and are especially attuned to the nuanced experiences of interracial and intercultural couples navigating differences in communication styles, values, expectations, and family or societal pressures. We strive to create a space where both partners feel safe, heard, respected, and empowered to grow together.

We work with couples who are both committed to improving their relationship and are open to new perspectives. Common challenges we help with include communication issues, cultural differences, life transitions (e.g., marriage, parenthood, shifting roles), family dynamics, and shared grief or loss.

Please note: We do not work with couples experiencing domestic violence, active addiction, ongoing affairs, or those in the process of separation or divorce. Our No Secrets Policy applies to all couples work.
