Who I support…
I work with adults, couples, and families seeking emotional support, personal growth, and meaningful change. Whether you're navigating relationship challenges, struggling with communication, managing overwhelming emotions, or healing from past experiences, therapy can provide a supportive space to better understand yourself and move forward with confidence.
I specialize in supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, including social anxiety, panic attacks, and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), as well as stress, low self-esteem, trauma, and difficulties expressing emotions. I also work with clients who are facing challenges in their relationships, navigating life transitions, or looking to build healthier coping skills and stronger emotional resilience.
I am especially passionate about working with first- and second-generation Latinx and Mexican American individuals, as well as those navigating multicultural identities and the unique experiences that can come with balancing different cultures, family expectations, and personal values. I strive to provide a culturally responsive, compassionate, and affirming environment where clients feel seen, understood, and supported.
A significant focus of my work is helping individuals heal from emotional wounds and childhood trauma. I believe that healing begins by understanding how past experiences shape our thoughts, emotions, and relationships. Together, we will develop practical tools to manage difficult emotions, challenge unhelpful thought patterns, strengthen self-esteem, and build a greater sense of self-worth.
My goal is to help you move beyond simply surviving toward living with greater confidence, purpose, and joy. Through a collaborative and supportive therapeutic relationship, I hope to empower you to create lasting change, develop healthier ways of coping, and build the fulfilling life you deserve.
What it’s like to work with me…
I believe that healing begins in a space where you feel safe, heard, and accepted just as you are. My approach is gentle, compassionate, and open-minded, allowing us to build a trusting relationship where you can openly explore your thoughts, emotions, and life experiences without judgment.
Together, we'll work at a pace that feels right for you. I strive to create a calm, supportive environment where you feel understood and empowered to navigate life's challenges. Along the way, we'll identify practical tools and strategies that help you build resilience, strengthen your self-esteem, and develop greater self-compassion.
I believe that self-love, empowerment, and learning to be gentle with yourself are essential parts of the healing process. Whether you're working through anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, or simply wanting to reconnect with yourself, my goal is to help you recognize your strengths and cultivate lasting confidence and self-worth.
Finding the right therapist is an important step, and I value creating a collaborative relationship where you feel comfortable, supported, and encouraged to grow. Together, we'll focus on healing, personal growth, and empowerment—helping you create meaningful, lasting changes that support not only where you are today, but the life you want to build for your future.
On a personal note, I love…
On a personal note, I love spending quality time with family and friends, especially if it means being out and about in the sun doing something new. My favorite things include going to concerts, especially sporting events and visiting any lakes, beaches and nature. I love reading a good mystery book, with a cold cup of chai or matcha latte.
