Therapy can be helpful for anyone wanting to better understand themselves, work through challenges, break old patterns, or build healthier ways of coping. It can also support you in improving relationships—with others and with yourself. You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit—many people come to therapy to grow, heal, and navigate life with more clarity and support. If you’re wondering whether therapy might be right for you, that curiosity is often a good place to start.

We thoughtfully tailor our approach to support the unique needs of each individual and couple we work with. The following are some of the therapeutic modalities that inform our work:
Psychodynamic Theory:
This approach explores how past experiences and unconscious patterns shape how you relate to yourself and others. By bringing insight to what's beneath the surface, psychodynamic therapy supports lasting emotional growth and self-understanding.
Gestalt Therapy:
Gestalt therapy focuses on the here and now—helping you become more aware of your thoughts, emotions, and body in the present moment. It encourages curiosity, self-acceptance, and authentic expression.
Attachment Theory:
Rooted in how we connect with caregivers early in life, attachment theory helps us understand our relational patterns today. It offers a compassionate framework for healing relationship wounds and building secure, healthy connections.
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT):
EFT is a compassionate, attachment-based approach that helps couples identify the underlying emotions and patterns that keep them feeling stuck. It guides partners toward creating safety, emotional closeness, and lasting change through deeper understanding and connection.
The Gottman Method:
Based on decades of research, the Gottman Method helps couples strengthen their relationship by improving communication, managing conflict, and building deeper connection. It offers practical tools to increase trust, intimacy, and shared meaning. description -
At this time, we only work with clients via telehealth through our secure online client portal, which allows residents of California across the state access to quality care from the comfort of their own home or any location within the state.
Our clients are located all over California, including San Francisco Bay Area, Greater Los Angeles Area, Orange County, and San Diego County, to name a few. Many people prefer telehealth for the convenience and comfort it provides. Telehealth has made therapy more accessible and does not hinder efficacy as the effectiveness of therapy depends on a myriad of factors, such as the rapport between client and therapist, consistency in attending sessions, and client’s active participation. A study has also been conducted comparing the efficacy of telehealth to in-person mental health care and results have shown that telehealth is as effective as in-person care (read article here).
-
Currently, we only work with California residents. If you are looking for a therapist outside of California, we recommend searching through therapist directories, such as Psychology Today and Inclusive Therapists.
-
Our practice does not provide services for legal proceedings, including divorce or custody cases. This means we do not offer court-ordered evaluations, custody recommendations, documentation for legal purposes, or expert testimony. Our focus is solely on supporting your personal growth, healing, and well-being through therapy.
-
While we provide ongoing support, we do not offer crisis or emergency services. If you are in crisis, please call or text 988, the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. In an emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.
-
Frequency of therapy sessions is one of the factors that play a role in therapy’s effectiveness. It is best for clients to commit to weekly sessions for the first 8-12 weeks. Progress will be assessed at each session and we can discuss the possibility of changing the frequency. If you feel that you have achieved your goals or for any other reason, you can choose to pause or end therapy.
-
We do not take insurance to provide our clients with more confidentiality and control over the frequency of sessions; however, we do provide superbills upon request.
A superbill is an itemized statement of services provided, which includes a mental health diagnosis code. Many of our clients are able to receive partial reimbursement by submitting superbills to their insurance providers. We recommend contacting your health insurance provider to learn more about your out-of-network benefits, as some PPO plans may cover a portion of the cost. When you reach out, consider asking the following questions:What deductible must be met before coverage begins?
What percentage of the cost will be covered?
What is the process for submitting a superbill for reimbursement?

Fees are available on each therapist’s bio.
We offer a limited number of sliding scale slots for therapy appointments. Please inquire for availability.
-
Credit/Debit Cards and FSA/HSA Cards
-
For both therapy appointments and clinical consultation appointments, we have a 48-hour reschedule and cancellation policy. This policy helps ensure that we can offer the appointment time to another client. The full appointment fee will be charged for cancellations and reschedule requests made with less than 48 hours’ notice, including missed appointments (no-shows).
-
The first step is to book a consultation call. We would love to learn about how you would like therapy to support you and to see if we would be a good fit for your therapy needs.
